Crossing the Street
Probably the hardest thing to do in Vietnam is to cross the street. It is nothing like back home. Here are some simple rules to live by.
If you can't see the video click here.
- The buses are king of the road. Try to cross when you don't see any buses
- The cars are the princes of the road. Try to cross when you see the least amount of cars.
- There will always be motorbikes don't worry about them just start walking and they will avoid you.
- Following the direction found in step three you must keep walking, don't stop, don't hesitate or the motorbikes will be confused and the situation becomes much more dangerous.
- (Optional) Waving your hand in the air to let the motorbikes see you.
Check out this video of some natives crossing a street. They start in upper left hand side of the screen.

When out and about we came across a man putting together a Rock Gallery in his house from his own personal collection. Here are some photos.
